Save time and gas and make yourself comfortable. Now you can make a quick and secure deposit of your check with USPS FCU’s Mobile Banking App*. You can even check your balance; find branch ATMs, pay bills and transfer funds.
To Use Mobile Deposit:
- Log in to our Mobile App
- Make sure your check is endorsed by you with the restrictive legend “Mobile Deposit” and log-on to our Mobile App.
- Select “Deposit” and enter deposit details
- Snap a photo of the front and back of the check
- Confirm the deposit
Am I eligible for Mobile Deposits (aka: Remote Deposit Capture (RDC))?
RDC eligibility requires membership of 30 days, no delinquencies, have less than 6 NSF’s in a calendar year, and have a current address on file and use the Credit Union’s Virtual Branch online banking product. See Terms and Conditions.
How long do I need to hold on to the check after depositing it?
Please keep the endorsed check for 7 days.
Is My Deposit Secure?
Yes, all information is stored in our secure systems and not on your mobile device.
Which mobile devices are supported?
Apple and Android operating systems. Download the app from iTunes or Google Play Stores.
Is the App available for iPads or Tablets?

Is the ATM/Branch locator on the APP only for local USPS FCU branch locations?
Yes, it is for our branch locations only. We have a nationwide Mobile ATM/Branch Locator website that you can bookmark and access anytime.
What accounts can I make deposits to?
Savings and Checking accounts.
What items are eligible for mobile deposit?
Checks drawn on U.S. financial institutions in U.S. dollars, or checks drawn on United States Treasury, or checks drawn on any state or local government of the United States (including the District of Columbia and all other U.S. territories), or U.S. Postal Service money orders.
How many checks can I deposit?
There is no limit to the number of checks you can deposit in one day; there is a limit of $2500 per business day. The system captures one item per transaction, if you have more than one check you will have to repeat the process.
What happens if I exceed the $2500 limit?
You will receive an error message.
When will funds be available in my account?
Within 2 business days.
What might cause my check to be rejected?
If the routing number and account number are not fully visible, make sure there’s space between the check and the edge of the image, that the front check image is right side up, and the back endorsement is above the arrow on the right. If you continue to experience problems, come in to any of our branches or shared branches and present that check for deposit.

NOTE: To use the Mobile App, you will first log into Virtual Branch and select Mobiliti under the Account Access tab. From there, you will enroll your cellular number and select your preferences.
