Membership Eligibility

U. S. Postal Service Federal Credit Union Field of Membership includes the U. S. Postal Service and those from Select Groups (SGs).

Print out a membership application and mail or return it to any branch location. You can request more information here.

You are eligible for membership if you are an employee or retiree of the:

• United States Postal Service who does not have local credit union service through another United States Postal Service employee-type credit union.
• Household Members of USPS FCU Members:
  • Family members of existing USPS FCU members
  • Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this Credit Union

If you are an employer...
Consider offering your employees the option of Credit Union membership. Surveys have shown that employees consider the availability of Credit Union membership (which extends to their families as well) a valuable employee benefit.

Select Group Eligibility

To be eligible, your organization or company must be within a 50 mile radius of the Main Office of USPS FCU or one of its branches, and your company must not participate in any other credit union. Your company must also be in business for at least 3 years and must offer Direct Deposit or Payroll Allotment. There is no limit to the number of employees you must have to be eligible to become a sponsor, 1 or 1000 or more, groups of all sizes are eligible.

Current Listing U. S. Postal Service Federal Credit Union membership includes employees and members of organizations called Select Groups (SGs). If you belong to one of these organizations as an employee or family member of an employee that has an account, you are eligible to join. Sign up today, so you can get more for your money by joining the credit union movement.
