Wire Transfer Procedures

Members often have an urgent need to receive virtually immediate availability of funds at an alternate financial institution. This transaction requires the wiring of funds.

Members can request that the Credit Union wire funds from their U. S. Postal Service Federal Credit Union account to another financial institution, or vice-versa.

Outgoing Funds Wire Procedures

If you wish us to wire funds from USPS FCU, submit a signed Wire Transfer Request Form to the Credit Union. In some instances, you will have to be available by phone to verify information you have given us; in other cases, we will need to have certain information on file ahead of time (a password or PIN) to help us verify the authenticity of the sender, you.

If the wire request is for more than $1,000, and/or you are requesting that USPS FCU wire funds to a third party, you will be informed that you need to make that request in writing (a form can be faxed to you, or download and print the ones included here).
